This is serious. The cupboard is bare, and revenues are not recovering.
And, next week a public political fight will break out.
The fight is over the dwindling money in your pocket.
Maine will be treated to scenes of “serious economic conferences”, rallies to “save our schools and roads”, “pity parades” (to quote a source in the legislature) and intense lobbying by government workers to raise taxes.

The Republican Project- Changes
Due to his announced candidacy for Maine's 1st Congressional seat in the US House of Representatives, Dean Scontras has decided to step down as the CEO/President of The Republican Project, effective immediately.
Additionally, Ted Ropple will also be resigning as the Executive Director of The Republican Project, as he will be assisting Dean with his campaign.
Gordon Davis has agreed to take on the Executive Director role, and will be managing day-to-day operations for The Republican Project going forward.
